Iteration 2 Using Audio Recording Files as Data Source
For the next set of iterations, I tried using external data: audio/sound recordings!
I recorded different activities—typing, conversations, game sessions, concerts, and everyday sounds—and measured the loudness over time.
To keep it simple, I scaled loudness from 1 to 10. Each 50-second audio file was split into 10 time slices, then each slice into 20 fragments,
forming a table of values similar to my previous iterations.
Using AI tools like ChatGPT and Google Gemini, I converted the audio data into tables and generated visualizations such as line charts.
This process helped me test the workflow and see how sound could be translated into numerical and visual patterns, laying the groundwork for further experimentation.
